PhotoScan Help

Please update your device to the latest iOS11.x for all the features to work properly.

(Go to Settings app -> General -> Software Update)

               Scanning tip                      

Make sure your photo or document

is flat and well lit. 

Use continuous light (💡-button)

in darker environments. 

For best edge detection, put your photo

or document on a dark surface.

If you are scanning with some angle

over a photo or a document - don't

worry, our scanner app will correct

the perspective of the image

automatically. This will also help to avoid

glare with shiny photos or documents.

Scanning from camera

Use the 📷-button for regular scans

of your photos or documents. Make sure

you're holding your iPhone steady,

while producing the shot.

Scanning with SuperScan 3x

Use the [3x]-button for the best

scanning results. Press the shutter

button once, and PhotoScan/SmartScan

will take 3 images of your photo or

document automatically. After the process

is done, the app will choose and process

the best image automatically.

Use it in low-light conditions.

Folder options

For folder options - press & hold or

double click the desired folder button.

There you will find "Lock folder", "Send folder",

"Rename folder" options.

Delete unwanted scan

Swipe any file in the list to the left,

and the Delete button will appear.

Delete all scans

If you need to delete all scans -

go to the app settings (gear icon on the main screen),

 and scroll to the very bottom. You will find the "Delete"

switch there. For security, you will 

need to input your credentials to

confirm the operation.

Fast save option

If you want to skip the "save to folder" step and

save the scan directly to the preselected folder - go 

to the app settings (gear icon on the main screen), and 

activate the "Preselected folder" switch.
